Designed for lower sixth form students, the Taste of Medicine programme offers a unique opportunity to gain first-hand insight into a career in medicine.
Over the course of a week, students work in pairs and take part in around ten varied sessions across a wide range of clinical settings. These include outpatient clinics such as anaesthetics, paediatrics and fracture clinic, as well as opportunities to observe clinical wards, the emergency department, operating theatres, and more.
The course is ideal for any student considering a future in medicine, providing valuable exposure to real clinical environments and day-to-day medical practice.
If you're a sixth form student or know someone who is that may be interested, please encourage them to speak with their school’s careers advisor who can provide the relevant application forms. Or email the MSG at info@msg.gg.
