The Guernsey Medic Network

Welcome to the Guernsey Medic Network. Launched in 2023, we are a network of doctors, trainee doctors, teachers, students and medical colleagues who have joined together with the aims of supporting medical applications, providing training opportunities, networking and publicising recruitment information, to anyone who has a link to Guernsey. If you have ever lived, studied or worked in Guernsey, or if you have a close friend, partner or family member who is local to the Bailiwick, or if you are considering whether you might like to make our islands your home in the future – you are all most welcome. 

Our ground breaking partnership is a coming together of all the island sixth form schools, all the GP practices within the Bailiwick, the Medical Specialist Group and Health and Social Care. We meet approximately termly at our steering group meetings where at least one partner organisation from each sector will be present. Junior Doctors in the UK are also represented on our committee by our current UK Nominated Representative, Dr Oliver Collas. The current list of the attendees at our steering group meetings can be found in this section of our website and all members are encouraged to contact their representative(s) if they have ideas or suggestions for the website.
