Under the supervision of Dr Chinyama, Sophie Joslin carried out a project on clots on serous fluids as a diagnostic tool for primary and metastatic cancer. In 26% of the patients, it was possible to make a diagnosis of cancer without need for a biopsy. The poster attracted a lot of interest. Sophie completed the project whilst waiting to go to medical school, which was a good start for her CV. Well done Sophie!
